Job summary

Dessert Holdings in Aurora, CO is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead up to 80 teammates, ensure food safety and quality, and drive production efficiency on the 2pm-12am or 10pm-8am shifts.

You will apply SQF, HACCP and GMP principles, coordinate start-ups, changeovers, and shift meetings with the Production Manager, while maintaining clean, safe working conditions and strong housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with SQF, HACCP, and GMP.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct up to 80 people per shift while meeting safety and quality specs.
• Train and coach line employees on food safety and quality standards.
• Operate and understand equipment in the assigned area.
• Coordinate startup, shutdown and changeovers.
• Minimize overtime unless approved by a Production Manager.
• Report and track waste and identify efficiency improvements.
• Maintain production records and fill production reports daily.
• Inspect and sign off on production labels when needed.
• Promote positive work ethic and maintain housekeeping.
