Job summary

Rosina Food Products, a West Seneca, NY based protein foods manufacturer, is hiring for a 2nd Shift Production Shift Manager to lead day-to-day operations on the 2nd shift in a USDA/FDA-regulated facility.

Responsibilities include setting production schedules, overseeing machines and material flow, improving safety, quality, yield and efficiency, and coaching a diverse team of hourly associates while ensuring GMP, HACCP, OSHA and other standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing.
• High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, OSHA, and regulatory standards.
• Proficiency with production management tools and reporting systems.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production and sanitation operations on 2nd shift.
• Set production schedules, oversee machine operation, and coordinate material flow.
• Monitor KPIs for safety, quality, yield and efficiency.
• Develop and coach a diverse team of hourly associates.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, OSHA, USDA, and FDA compliance.
• Collaborate with sanitation, maintenance, HR and quality teams.
• Manage timekeeping, scheduling, and shift reporting.
• Suggest cost-saving and waste-reduction initiatives.
• Utilize ShopLogix and Safety Chain for data and reporting.
