Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Process Operator to join our Jackson, OH team. This full-time role runs Monday-Thursday, 3:30pm-3:30am, with potential for extra hours as needed.

Responsibilities include operating snack food processing equipment, performing changeovers, maintaining clean equipment, and recording production data in the ERP system. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must complete a background and pre-employment drug screen.
• Preplacement screening tests your ability to perform physical requirements.
• Good mechanical skill-related background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate potato chip fryers, dough mixers, and snack food processing equipment.
• Change over and set up mixing, cooking, and processing equipment.
• Clean machine parts after changeovers and monitor tank levels.
• Enter production data into ERP and maintain records in real time.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate material replenishment.
