Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. in Jackson, OH seeks a Process Operator to operate potato chip fryers, dough mixers and snack processing equipment, with a Monday-Thursday schedule and a 3:30pm-3:30am shift.

You will be responsible for setup, changeovers, cleaning, and recording data in the ERP system, maintaining equipment, inventory with real-time material replenishment, and supporting a fast-paced production line. Qualifications

• A good mechanical skill-related background is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP data entry is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate potato chip fryers, dough mixers, and snack food processing equipment.
• Perform changeovers and setup of mixing, cooking, and processing equipment.
• Clean machine parts, manage waste, monitor tank levels, and clean areas in processing.
• Record daily machine and process data (batch counts, start/stop times, oil readings, waste, flour weights).
• Maintain Urschel slicer heads for quality and consistent slices.
• Ensure data accuracy in ERP for production orders, materials, and finished goods.
• Update ERP records to reflect real-time production status and maintenance.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate material replenishment.
