Job summary
JTM Food Group is seeking a Cook - Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Harrison, OH. The role involves setting up and operating a kettle cook and related equipment to produce batch products in a timely, accurate manner.
Responsibilities include loading ingredients, monitoring temperatures, maintaining safety and quality standards, and coordinating with production leads to ensure formulas are followed. On-site position with full benefits and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- English reading and writing required.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Capable of following written instructions and safety procedures.
- Able to use computer/ scanning systems.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the cooking machine per formula instructions.
- Load ingredients and adjust as required for batch production.
- Ensure HACCP temperatures and quality controls are maintained.
- Operate pump system and monitor equipment.
- Reconcile paperwork and maintain logs.
- Follow safety policies and GMP requirements.
