Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. is seeking a Process Operator to join the Nottingham, PA team. This role focuses on operating snack production equipment, performing setup, and ensuring accurate ERP data entry to support production planning.

The position requires mechanical aptitude, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment. Full-time, benefits eligible with on-site support and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must complete a background and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Good mechanical skill-related background preferred.
• Able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with wet/humid conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate potato chip fryers, dough mixers, and snack food processing equipment.
• Change over and set up mixing, cooking, and processing equipment.
• Clean machine parts and monitor tank levels; clean seasoning trays, floors and ovens.
• Record daily machine and process data in the ERP system.
• Maintain Urschel slicer heads for consistent slices.
• Enter production and materials data into the ERP system.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate material replenishment.
• Other ERP duties and responsibilities as assigned.
