Summary

The primary role of this position is to operate line equipment and transfer finished products off the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line equipment without supervision
• Operate date coders and labelers
• Assist in line change‑overs and set‑ups
• Police work area and machinery as needed
• Maintain a clean work area by sweeping, mopping floors and wiping down machinery as needed and at the end of shift
• Monitor and report on food quality and safety issues
• Continually monitor the facility for security measures or breaches
• Responsible for insuring proper packaging, coding, labeling and pallet configuration of shipments
• Act in a safe manner at all times and advise supervision of any safety issues
• Responsible for all HACCP, quality and production documentation applicable to the position
• Assist other departments as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management
