Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Hesston, KS is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Tech for the 2nd shift (2:30PM–11PM). You will maintain and repair shop machinery and equipment across multiple plants, ensuring alignment with diagrams, manuals, and specs.

You will inspect, dismantle, adjust, and replace components, operate drill presses and grinders as needed, and participate in environmental compliance tasks. A HS diploma and 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of industrial electrician or mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience with electrical safety practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment following diagrams and manufacturer specifications.
• Observe and listen to devices in operation to locate faults.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts using hoists and power tools.
• Inspect parts for wear and measure tolerances with calipers and micrometers.
• Adjust functional parts using hand tools and measurement instruments.
• Repair or replace defective structural parts and lubricate components.
• Test devices after adjustments and ensure proper operation.
