Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Service Engineer 1 for the Northwest LA/Ventura/Santa Barbara/Kern region on the 2nd shift (12pm-9pm). This role is remote in practice but requires onsite customer support, installation and maintenance across multiple modalities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, assist installations, and troubleshoot equipment while driving customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Qualifications

Must have valid driver’s license.
Associate degree or equivalent military education with 4 years of experience servicing electronic equipment; or high school diploma with 6 years of relevant experience.
Experience with multimodality equipment, troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to work after hours / on-call.

Responsibilities

Perform on-time and accurate Preventative Maintenance, FMIs and/or ISIs.
Assist more experienced field engineers with equipment installation.
Troubleshoot and repair designated equipment and lead basic installations.
Communicate effectively with customers and teammates to ensure satisfaction.
Identify value-added services and support revenue programs where appropriate.
Maintain service logs, order parts, and manage cycle times; follow escalation processes.
