Job summary

GE HealthCare in Mobile, AL seeks Field Engineer 2 to perform maintenance, installations, and repairs on medical equipment across hospital settings. This onsite role requires readiness for after-hours support within the Mobile area.

Qualifications

• Degrees/experience as listed: degree or equivalent military education with 3+ years servicing medical equipment, or high school diploma with 6+ years in service.
• Must have valid driver's license and be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Flexibility for after-hours and rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical equipment in hospitals.
• Maintain relationships with customers with timely communication and follow-up to drive satisfaction.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and document all work performed, including parts ordering.
