Job summary

KMC Stampings is seeking a 2nd Shift Extrusion Setup Operator in Port Washington, WI to set up, adjust, and operate extrusion machinery with close tolerances. You will read drawings, verify parts, maintain documentation, and ensure quality while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications include 6-12 months of manufacturing experience, basic blueprint reading, and strong attention to detail. The role requires standing and using precision measuring tools; overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Basic blueprint reading, reading, & writing skills.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and use hands with various motions.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, adjust, and operate extrusion machine to form, bend and punch a variety of work.
• Work from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templates.
• Use caliper, micrometer, comparator & other measuring equipment.
• Sorting and packaging parts.
• Verify quantity & quality of material.
• Complete & maintain all required paperwork.
• Maintains a safe & a clean work environment & departmental housekeeping standards.
• Adhere to safety and conduct rules and other regulations.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
