Job summary

Continental Plastic Corporation in Delavan, Wisconsin, is hiring an Extrusion Technician for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM). This non-supervisory position supports startup, configuration, loading, operating extrusion equipment, changeovers, preventive maintenance, and quality checks to maintain full-capacity production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 months of machine operating experience.
• Basic knowledge of machining principles and OSHA safety requirements.
• Forklift licensure required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup and configuration of extrusion equipment.
• Load materials, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines.
• Set up and operate single or multiple production machines to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
• Check machine output and adjust settings to meet specifications.
• Keep updated records on machine activity, output, and defects; communicate with team across shifts to ensure continuous production and minimize waste.
