Job summary

Continental Plastic Corporation in Delavan, Wisconsin, is seeking an Extrusion Technician for the 2nd shift (3:00PM–11:00PM). You will start up, configure extrusion equipment, load materials, operate machines, perform changeovers, and support preventive maintenance to maximize production.

A high school diploma or GED with at least 6 months of machine-operating experience is required, along with basic MS Excel, Word and Outlook. Forklift licensure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 months of machine operating experience.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Understanding of machining processes and safety requirements (OSHA).
• Ability to obtain forklift licensure.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, setup, loading, and operation of extrusion machinery.
• Configure equipment, changeover, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor machine performance and quality checks to meet KPI targets.
• Maintain records, communicate across shifts, and reduce waste.
• Forklift operation as required.
