Carter Machinery Co. Inc. is hiring an Express Lube Technician in Fishersville.

The role involves lubrication, fluid level checks, filter replacements, oil sampling, and recommending additional services during inspections. A CDL or DOT certification eligibility may be required, with a strong emphasis on mechanical aptitude and safe operation in customer sites. The position offers a starting range of $26.88–$33.79 per hour plus shift differential, with a sign-on bonus available for new hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a shop service environment.
• Valid driver's license with excellent driving record; CDL/DOT certification eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate moving parts of machinery with specified lubricants.
• Inspect fluid levels in engine, hydraulics, transmission, etc.
• Inject grease using hand or air-powered grease gun.
• Drain and refill oils; collect samples for testing.
• Replace oil/air filters and monitor inventories.
• Inform customers of service dates and recommend future service.
