Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Greenwood, SC is seeking an Electrical Technician for the 2nd shift. The starting rate is $27.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, with core hours Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 1:00 am.

You will perform final inspection, testing, and documentation for a range of Eaton products, troubleshoot failures, and support quality improvements. A high school diploma and 2 years’ electrical distribution experience are required; relocation is not

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of work experience in power distribution or electrical distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Relocation is not offered; must live within fifty miles of Greenwood, SC.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection and functional testing of Eaton products before shipment.
• Develop and execute test plans; conduct electrical and electronic testing.
• Inspect components and connections across products (structures, units, panels, panelboards, controls, assemblies).
• Diagnose and resolve issues; document or complete required repairs.
