Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to maintain and repair electrical and control systems used in food manufacturing. You will document systems, read schematics, and support production by addressing both hardware and software issues.

The role requires on-site work in Swedesboro, NJ, with a 2nd shift. Pay is $41/hour with a $0.50/hour shift differential and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience installing machinery and complete electrical control systems.
• Knowledge of Rockwell, Siemens and Mitsubishi software and preventive maintenance software.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control docs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current documentation for electrical and control systems.
• Assist mechanics in diagnosing electrical or control issues.
• Coordinate Electromechanics activities across shifts when needed.
• Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform inspections safely while equipment runs; conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain records per work orders and job assignments.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, quality control and company procedures.
