GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Dockmaster to lead dock activities, ensuring safe and efficient trailer movement at our facility in Georgia.

The role works with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to uphold accountability and service excellence. The position requires experience in warehouse or dock environments, ability to coordinate dock tasks in a fast-paced operation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, dock, yard or transportation environments.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Working knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and varied terrain.
• Follow defined processes, safety standards, and escalation protocols.
• Strong communication with daily customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and support of dock equipment as required.
• Coordinate loading/unloading dock activities and trailer movements.
• Manage trailer docking, release, and yard flow per safety standards.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe conditions.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
