Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Yard and Dock Coordinator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00pm–10:30pm). You will lead dock activities, coordinate trailer movements, and ensure safe, efficient yard flow in a busy distribution environment.

You will partner with site operations, transportation and customer teams, applying 7S standards and using Office 365/Google Suite to document issues and track progress. A strong focus on safety and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation setting.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Working knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loading/unloading dock activities and trailer movements to support daily priorities.
• Manage dock and yard flow, applying safety standards and process guidelines.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and document issues using office tools.
• Provide coverage and operational support to site leadership as needed.
