Hope Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the 2nd shift in Davison, Michigan. This on-site, full-time role supports individuals to build independence and community integration through personalized care.

Responsibilities include monitoring safety, aiding daily living tasks, attending medical appointments, and promoting social participation. We value empathy, reliability, teamwork, and continuous growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Michigan driver's license required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with daily living activities.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Shift flexibility: full-time or part-time, including weekends/holidays.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn care documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety 24/7 with on-site checks.
• Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
• Establish trust and empathy through consistent communication.
• Foster partnership with individuals, community, and professionals.
• Help develop problem-solving, communication, and independence.
• Assist with social activities and transport to events.
• Help with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, meals).
• Monitor health vitals and relay medical information to the team.
• Document care plans accurately and timely.
