Job summary

MiTek Industries, Inc. in Tolleson, AZ, is hiring for a 2nd shift role requiring machine setup, stamping die changes, and basic troubleshooting. Ongoing maintenance and safety compliance are essential. Training on 1st shift precedes transition to regular 2nd-shift hours.

The position emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and readiness to work overtime, with a focus on quality and productivity in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Effectively communicate with co-workers and management regarding work and safety issues.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Some PC skills helpful but not required.
• Read a tape measure.
• Previous forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery for manufacturing.
• Set up stamping dies in presses.
• Perform tooling changes according to schedules.
• Perform simple troubleshooting and tool and die repairs to keep production on schedule.
• Conduct required preventative maintenance.
• Monitor press, tooling and secondary systems for proper operation.
• Be present and ready to work at the start of the shift and work overtime as required.
