Job summary

MiTek Industries in Tolleson, AZ is seeking an experienced Die Changeover Technician to support stamping operations. You will perform die setup, changeovers, tooling maintenance, and troubleshoot forming and progression issues to ensure dies are production-ready per work orders.

This role requires high safety standards, ability to read specifications, and readiness to work overtime as needed. Team collaboration and accurate documentation are essential, with a focus on quality and timely

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience/training.
• Effectively communicate with co-workers and management regarding work and safety issues.
• Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure.
• Reasoning: apply common sense to carry out instructions and safety procedures.
• Some PC skills helpful but not required.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Change various components inside the die and remove/install die sections.
• Perform die setup, changeovers, and tooling maintenance.
• Troubleshoot forming, punch, and progression issues.
• Verify correct die per customer spec and complete die set-up sheets.
• Provide support for Die Setters and train others as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and comply with safety policies.
