MiTek Industries, Inc. in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a manufacturing technician to setup machinery, stamping dies, and tooling, and to assist with preventive maintenance. You will troubleshoot issues to keep production on schedule and ensure safe operation of presses and secondary systems.

Strong attention to safety, reliable attendance, and basic math and measurement skills are required. Prior forklift experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and management regarding work and safety issues.
• Read a tape measure.

Responsabilités

• Set up machinery for manufacturing.
• Set up stamping dies in presses.
• Perform tooling changes according to schedules.
• Simple troubleshooting and tool and die repair to keep production on schedule.
• Perform required preventative maintenance.
• Monitor press, tooling and secondary systems for proper operation during manufacturing.
• Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty; overtime may be required.
