Job summary

The Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for leading daily warehouse and distribution operations in a fast-paced startup environment at our 500,000 square foot facility in Ellabell, GA (Savannah area).

The role oversees receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and staff performance while helping establish SOPs and best practices that support growth, efficiency, safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse packing or logistics operations.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience leading teams of 20+ hourly associates.
• Strong safety mindset with proven experience enforcing safety protocols in receiving or warehouse operations.
• Tier One WMS experience; Blue Yonder experience is a plus.
• Experience in automated, fast-paced facilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily distribution center activities including receiving, put-away, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
• Monitor workflow and labor allocation to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and process issues.
• Assist with developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Schedule staffing levels based on operational demands.
• Address employee concerns and support employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
• Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective measures in partnership with the Safety Manager.
