Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Shift Manager for the 1st shift at our Upper Marlboro Distribution Center. You will lead hourly and salaried teams from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, coordinating shipping, receiving, and inventory to ensure on-time delivery.

You will drive safety and performance, coach leaders, and implement process improvements daily. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years’ distribution management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years’ management experience in supply chain distribution.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
• WMS/LMS experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Project management experience (LEAN, KAIZEN, Agile).

Responsibilities

• Plan workload and lead a fast-paced distribution center.
• Oversee shift operations including shipping, receiving, and loading.
• Develop weekly operation plans to meet customer demand.
• Coach and develop employees for performance and growth.
• Drive safety, productivity, quality, attendance, and engagement.
