Job summary

Caterpillar Remanufacturing in Corinth, Mississippi is hiring for a Cleaning I position. You will work in a detail-focused environment cleaning engine components, with responsibilities including disassembly, use of cleaning tools, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

The role is 2nd shift (2pm–10pm) with a night shift premium of 7%. Competitive benefits, 40-hour weeks, and potential overtime are offered. A detail suit and respirator are required, along with pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read/write and interpret documents.
• Basic computer experience to read standard work documents and enter data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and detail engine components in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
• May use disassembly tools (vibratory, pneumatic, impact guns, wrenches, grinders) to clean/detail parts.
• Cross-training in other Salary Grade 1 positions may be required according to qualifications.
• Overhead hoist may be used to move large components.
• Handle materials and unload parts according to production schedule.
• Wear a detail suit with hood and/or respirator and follow safety guidelines.
• Communicate via various computer systems, including email, as part of daily tasks.
