Job summary

Caterpillar Remanufacturing in Corinth, MS, seeks a Disassembly I to disassemble engines and components in a safety-focused, fast-paced environment. The role includes cross-training into Cleaning 1, Assembly 1, and Logistics 1 opportunities and requires basic data entry and the use of various tools and equipment.

Starting at $17.05/hour with a Monday–Friday schedule (6am–2pm) and potential overtime; comprehensive benefits, 401(k) match on day 1, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Basic computer experience: read standard work documents and enter data
• Must read/write and interpret documents
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with hoists is a plus

Responsibilities

• Disassemble engines and components in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment
• Cross training in other Salary Grade 1 positions may be required based on qualifications
• Use of various tooling such as hand and power tools
• May use overhead hoist to move large components
• May wear respirator for detail/cleaning tasks
• Move parts using pallet jacks, cranes, or electric pallet jacks
• Sort incoming material and perform data entry
• Utilize computer systems and email regularly
• Adhere to Built-in-Safety guidelines
• Work in a team environment with minimal supervision
