Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking candidates for Engine & Component Cleaning positions in Corinth, MS or Booneville, MS. You will work in a detail or preclean operation focused on engines and components, with equipment use, safety training, and a team-oriented environment.

The role requires reading/writing basic documents, attention to detail, and the ability to work in shifts with PPE and potential overtime. Prior tooling experience is a plus, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Basic computer experience (read standard work documents and data entry).
• Read/write and interpret documents.
• Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel preferred.
• Experience with hoists and basic tooling helpful.
• Knowledge of engines and components is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and detail engine components in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.
• Use disassembly and cleaning tools (vibratory, pneumatic, grinders) to remove debris.
• Cross-train in other Salary Grade 1 positions when needed.
• Possibly operate an overhead hoist to move large components.
• Handle materials and unload parts per production schedule.
• Wear detail suit with hood and/or respirator; follow safety guidelines.
