Everwood Treatment Co. is seeking a forklift operator to support lumber preparation for treatment, load/unload duties, and ongoing production flow in a manufacturing setting.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of forklift experience. The role includes equipment operation, material handling, housekeeping, and inventory tasks with a competitive benefits package.

• Uses banding tool and tag gun to prepare lumber for treatment.
• Monitors trams and production of cylinders to ensure efficient flow of material.
• Performs housekeeping and clean-up around cylinder and tram area.
• Assists in picking up lumber and other materials and in month-end inventory activities.

• Assists Treating Engineers by preparing lumber to be treated, changing out charges, quality control, and other duties as assigned
• Load and unload lumber using forklift, stacking lumber up to 10-15 foot high
• Uses controls to operate the transfer deck.
• Uses drill to bore material samples.
• Uses banding tool and tag gun to prepare lumber for treatment.
• Monitors trams and production of cylinders to ensure efficient flow of material through equipment.
• Performs housekeeping and clean-up around cylinder and tram area.
• Assists in picking up lumber and other materials due to spills as requested by Supervisor.
• Assists in month-end inventory activities.

Qualifications :

High School diploma or GED preferred

• Forklift Experience of 2+ year Required
