Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Shell Winder on the 2nd shift at the Nacogdoches, TX facility. Core hours are 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; overtime may be required.

The role involves setting up and winding transformer coils using a coil winding machine, loading materials, and ensuring quality through precise measurements and labeling. Qualifications

• Must reside within 50 miles of Nacogdoches, TX.
• No immigration sponsorship for this position.
• Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt from geographical area limitation.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Must be able to work in hot environments and tolerate loud noises.
• Must use PPE as outlined (gloves, eye/face protection, ear plugs, steel toe etc.).

Responsibilities

• Identify coil part numbers and quantities from Run Sheet and input into the winding machine.
• Interpret winding specifications accurately.
• Set up the winding machine including materials and sizes.
• Wind and insulate coils to specifications.
• Measure materials, adjust, and verify alignment.
• Label coils with IDs, work orders, and part numbers.
• Perform minor machine upkeep and scrap logging.
• Enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) safety protocols.
• Operate overhead cranes and transport materials within the facility.
• Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
