Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division in Nacogdoches, TX is seeking a Core Coil Assembler for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.). The role uses defined procedures to assemble transformer cores and sub-assemblies, load coils, and perform rework as needed.

You will operate a TIG welder, use tools and heavy equipment, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement through 5S practices. Overtime may be required and benefit from day-one health coverage, retirement plans, parental leave,

Competenze

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Must work in hot environments and tolerate loud noises.

Mansioni

• Execute tasks across multiple centers (oven, press, core/clamp, TTR testing, welding/finishing, stacking).
• Assemble transformer cores per specs, blueprints, and BOMs; follow SOPs and NFOI methods.
• Load cores/coils on stacking line and align core around coil legs.
• Stack units on pallets with correct order numbers; label and secure with straps.
• Build sub-assemblies per OPS and quality standards using calibrated tools.
• Operate TIG welder to join leads and crossovers; follow wiring diagrams.
• Test finished units with a TTR tester and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform rework on damaged components to meet quality standards.
• Transport finished assemblies to storage, scanning units per shipping schedule.
• Weld lead assemblies for future orders using BOMs and scheduling docs.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Use forklifts and other heavy machinery to move materials.
• Maintain safety, 5S+ housekeeping, and adherence to company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
