Job summary

Peet's Coffee is seeking a detail-driven Production Team Member for our 2nd shift in Minnesota. You will work on a packaging line, perform case filling, box assembly and pallet stacking, and uphold safety and quality standards on every shift.

You will collaborate with a team to meet production quotas, complete sanitation tasks, and use basic computer tools to document activity. Prior production experience is preferred, coffee industry a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an industrial production facility.
• Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of coffee industry experience strongly desired.
• At least 1 year of food manufacturing experience strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Work with the production team to ensure safety and product quality while meeting production goals.
• Complete packaging tasks such as case filling, box assembly, and pallet stacking.
• Follow safety rules and food safety GMPs consistently.
• Report safety and quality concerns to leadership.
• Operate packaging line with steady speed and accuracy.
• Increase productivity while maintaining quality.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure a clean and safe work area.
• Perform material management tasks for an efficient workspace.
• Use tools and equipment correctly and maintain them.
• Attend safety and production meetings and trainings.
• Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays.
