Job summary

Adecco is hiring a 2nd Shift CNC Precision Machinist Operator in Ventura County, CA. You will set up and operate CNC equipment including NC210, NC230, OMNI, and Swiss machines to produce high-precision parts.

Requires 3-5 years hands-on CNC experience, ability to read blueprints, tight tolerances, strong math and communication skills. Training on 2nd shift hours is provided; shifts are 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm with some overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade school diploma preferred.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience set up and operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, machine and inspect completed parts and related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, assemble and adjust cutting dies and sources in presses.
• Measure, inspect and evaluate parts per detailed specifications and adjust as needed.
• Prepare automatic machinery for welding and thermoplastic operations.
• Monitor machine performance, follow safety protocols and perform routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, report and resolve machine malfunctions promptly.

2nd Shift CNC Precision Machinist Operator

Adecco is now hiring for one of the largest technology companies, and this is your chance to work with them in Ventura County!

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC equipment including but not limited to NC210 (CNC Lathe Single and Dual Spindle and Turret), NC230 (Up to 5 Axes CNC Mill), OMNI (Gang-tooled CNC turning center, high-speed, precision manufacturing of small to medium-sized parts) and Swiss machines.


• Disassembles, assembles, and adjusts cutting dies and sources in presses.


• Measures, inspects, and evaluates parts according to detailed specifications; makes necessary adjustments.


• Prepares automatic machinery for welding and thermoplastic operations.


• Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision parts.


• Monitors machine performance, ensures adherence to safety protocols, and performs routine maintenance.


• Troubleshoots, reports, and resolves machine malfunctions efficiently.


• Maintains accurate documentation of production and quality checks.


• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade school diploma.


• Strong communication and reading skills.


• 3-5 years of hands-on experience set up and operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment


• Ability to read blueprints, machine and inspect completed parts and related documentation.


• Ability to work independently with tight tolerances (.001 or less)


• Must have math skills to be able to set up the machine.


• Ability to lift/carry/pull/push up to 20lbs.


• Relevant certifications (e.g., CNC Machining Certification) are a plus.

Shifts Available

• Shifts are available from Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm with some overtime.


• Training on 1st shift hours (5:30am – 2:00pm) for approximately 6 weeks

Pay Details

$28.00 to $32.00 per hour
