Job summary

Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc. in Mason, OH, is seeking a 2nd shift Industrial Manufacturing Supervisor for conventional machining to lead a cross-functional team in a rigorously controlled aerospace/turbine environment.

The role directs Team Leads, Setup Techs, Operators, and Machinists, scheduling production across shifts while maintaining quality and safety standards. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in manufacturing with 2+ years in a manager role, CNC machining experience, and a track record of

Qualifications

• 7+ years in manufacturing including 2+ years at a manager level directing operations of similar manufacturing facility with direct responsibility to meet production throughput and quality goals.
• A minimum of 5+ years' experience in CNC machining preferred.
• A minimum of 2+ years in a leadership role with 20+ direct reports preferred.
• Experience working with complex / engineered product lines.
• Experience defining and utilizing manufacturing systems, data, and metrics to plan and execute production plans.
• Able to lead cross functional teams to identify the root cause and implement effective corrective actions for problems which impede the execution of production plans.
• Excellentcommunication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills required to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels of business.
• Able to work independently and successfully multi-task, excellent organizational skills, a high sense of urgency.
• Associate's degree+ and or trade school certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Productions required. Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now a plus.
• Must meet the definition of a "U.S. person" under ITAR, as set forth in 22 C.F.R. §120.62.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate production on the 2nd shift.
• Direct Team Leads, Set-up Techs, Operators, Machinists, and other employees involved in processing product.
• Schedule production for the shift and ensure quality and delivery dates.
• Create high-performing teams and a collaborative environment to improve job satisfaction and retention.
• Lead and/or influence teams to troubleshoot daily production issues and drive improvements.
• Coach employees with feedback and mentoring, initiating disciplinary action when appropriate.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and the safety/training coordinator on safety and process improvements.
