Job summary

Alianza is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift CNC Operator in Gastonia, NC to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery for precision metal components. You will read blueprints, select tools, adjust speeds and feeds, and ensure quality through inspection and measurements.

The role requires a reliable team player who can thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, while following safety policies and maintaining accurate production records. Starting pay is $17 per hour with DOE considerations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to read technical specifications and use precision measuring tools.
• Knowledge of CNC setup, tooling, and basic adjustments.
• Familiarity with G-code and M-code is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery to cut, shape, drill metal components.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Select and install cutting tools and fixtures based on production requirements.
• Adjust machine settings, speeds, feeds, offsets, and tool positions per procedures.
• Monitor operations for accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
• Perform routine measurements and inspections using calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain production records and perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
