Alianza is seeking an experienced Laser Operator for a 3rd shift in Gastonia, NC. The role entails setting up and operating laser cutting equipment to manufacture precision sheet metal parts.

You will read blueprints, verify dimensions, and troubleshoot basic issues while maintaining high quality standards. The position requires at least 1 year of hands-on manufacturing experience with laser equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently on a 12-hour weekend

Qualificações

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Accurately use tape measures, calipers, and other precision tools.
• Identify quality defects and dimensional inconsistencies in parts.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and maintain production flow.
• Work independently with limited supervision after training.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate laser cutting equipment according to work orders and specifications.
• Load sheet metal (various types) into the laser system and verify material type and thickness.
• Adjust machine settings and cutting parameters to meet tolerances.
• Perform routine startup/shutdown procedures and monitor production for quality.
• Read drawings and verify dimensions during production to ensure conformance.
