Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Prescott, AZ, is seeking an experienced Machinist II for 1st and 2nd shifts who has completed a CNC Machining Program. You will join a team of skilled machinists and engineers, setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines.

The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over two years and a 12% shift differential for 2nd shift. Candidates must have 4–7 years as a CNC/VMC machinist, strong blueprint reading, and the ability to work under ITAR/EAR regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a CNC Machining Program.
• 4–7 years or more as CNC/VMC machinist operator.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to work under ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines and related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developed.
• Work with engineers and programmers to make edits and adjustments to produce parts to blueprints.
• Operate more than one machine in a cellular environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of feeds, speeds, cutting tools and their applications.
• Inspect work for all dimensional features and ensure it meets specifications.
• Complete paperwork related to counts, scrap, time, etc., per policy.
