Job summary

Klein Tools is seeking a CNC Machine Operator III to produce machined parts by setting up and running complex jobs on CNC lathes and mills. Responsibilities include loading programs, adjusting tools, and verifying parts to tight tolerances at Trevose, PA.

The role requires operating multiple machines, maintaining safety and quality, and collaborating across shifts. 2nd shift 2:30 PM–11:30 PM EDT with training on 1st shift; a competitive sign-on bonus is offered based on experience and shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 5–7 years CNC mills/lathe experience.
• Ability to read and understand part/tool prints.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and tight tolerances.
• Strong math and trig skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate drill presses, manual milling machines, CNC milling machines, manual lathes and CNC lathes.
• Perform complex set-up of CNC machines by loading programs, installing and adjusting chucks, cutting tools, attachments, tool holders, vises, collets, bushings, stops and stock pushers.
• Make adjustments to the program as needed.
• Load and unload raw materials and parts into the machine.
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces adhering to company quality standards.
