Job summary

Seakeeper, Inc. in Leesport, PA is seeking a 2nd Shift Machining Lead to manage CNC equipment and uphold tight tolerances essential to our gravity-defying products. You’ll train and lead a machining team, ensure maintenance and QC programs are followed, and serve as the go-to expert for machining questions.

Based in our Leesport facility, you will work Monday-Thursday nights from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., training on first shift for four weeks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in CNC machining and shop math.
• 4+ years precision grinding.
• 1+ year mentoring machining teams.
• Ability to read part drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and people management.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for machining questions and troubleshooting.
• Train, lead, mentor, and motivate the machining team.
• Assure manufacturing and quality control programs are followed to meet quality standards.
• Be the go-to expert for all machining questions and troubleshooting.
• Oversee operations to ensure machines are maintained and downtime is minimized.
