Job summary

ETE REMAN in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a CNC Machining Center Operator on 2nd shift to support remanufacturing of transmission components. You will run CNC equipment, load/unload parts, inspect quality, and maintain workflow to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand detailed work instructions and process documents.
• Mechanical background with machine shop/manufacturing/automotive experience preferred.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment according to established work instructions, specifications and procedures.
• Load and unload components, materials, fixtures, and tooling.
• Read, understand, and follow detailed work instructions and process documentation.
• Inspect parts for wear, damage, defects, and overall quality.
• Perform dimensional and visual quality inspections using gauges and measuring instruments.
• Verify completed work meets established quality standards before moving parts to the next operation.
• Monitor machine performance and report quality, tooling, or equipment concerns.
• Maintain an even workflow and support production schedules.
• Assist with tooling changes, machine cleaning, and basic machine maintenance activities.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Follow directions from supervisors and managers and proactively support departmental goals.
