Job summary

ETE REMAN, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking a production associate to support assembly, inspection and quality checks in a fast-paced shop environment. You will read detailed instructions, handle components, and operate various machines and tools while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Read, understand and follow detailed work instructions, process & procedures.
• Mechanical background, past machine shop and automotive parts experience preferred
• Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred, detail oriented, ability to bend, twist, pull & push
• Willingness to get dirty and may work with chemicals
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8+ hours
• Self-starting, good time management and teamwork
• Adhere to safety rules and maintain attendance

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow detailed work instructions, process & procedures, keep an even workflow
• Examine and clean components for use, noticeable wear, damage & defects, understand quality standards
• Help the department in many different roles and areas, take on responsibilities and learn equipment
• Verify and perform quality checks to ensure parts are correct and within standards
• Operate and perform work using a variety of equipment, tools and machines
• Keep the department clean of trash and debris, sweep and mop areas
• Assist others within the department, work as a team and be flexible for overtime
• Follow directions from supervisors and be proactive and helpful
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time
