Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment according to established work instructions, specifications and procedures.

• Perform dimensional and visual quality inspections using gauges and measuring instruments.

• Assist with tooling changes, machine cleaning, and basic machine maintenance activities.

Job Overview

As a CNC Operator, you play an important role in supporting ETE REMAN's remanufacturing operations by operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment used to machine, modify , and prepare transmission components for production. This position is responsible for safely operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, inspecting components, and ensuring production goals are met.

Your day will be spent operating CNC machinery, loading and unloading parts, performing inspections, maintaining workflow, and supporting departmental objectives . Success in this role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions

Ability to properly read and use gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate production records.

Mechanical background; machine shop, manufacturing, or automotive experience preferred.

Ability to work with tooling, fixtures, measuring devices, and machining equipment.

Must be 18 years old; high school diploma preferred.

Detail-oriented with strong quality awareness and attention to detail.

Willingness and understanding that you will get dirty at times and may work with oils, lubricants, coolants, and cleaning chemicals.

Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8+ hours per day in a manufacturing environment.

Have a Can-Do Attitude with good time management, communication, and decision‑making skills.

Self‑starting and motivated; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others.
