Job summary

Azenta Life Sciences is seeking a 2nd Shift Biobank Technician I (Mon-Fri, 3:30p-12am) to register, label, retrieve, and discard irreplaceable biological samples while maintaining strict temperature controls. You will use the inventory system, generate reports, and support facility upkeep in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 2 years of teamwork-focused experience, and familiarity with GMP/GTP/GLP.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years' experience showing teamwork, self-motivation, detail orientation, and professionalism.
• Life Sciences experience preferred.
• GMP/GTP/CLIA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions methodically and in accordance with SOPs.
• Adhere to GMP/GTP/GLP/ISO and CAP standards and other regulatory requirements as outlined in SOPs.
• Handle materials at temperatures required by project definition and SOPs (+30°C to -196°C).
• Follow safety requirements for infectious and noninfectious materials, radioactive materials, chemicals, and drugs.
