Job summary

Azenta Inc. is seeking a Biobank/Compound Management Technician I to manage the full life cycle of small molecule compounds at Azenta. You will handle sample reception, storage, labeling, retrievals, and order fulfillment while maintaining strict SOP and GMP standards.

Work with automated stores, liquid handling systems, and LIMS to track custody and ensure timely shipments; collaborate with teams in a fast-paced biobank environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with some laboratory experience or equivalent.
• Associates degree with 2+ years relevant experience or HS diploma with 5+ years.
• Strong attention to detail and organization; works well in teams or independently.
• Experience in a GxP lab environment preferred; good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions in accordance with SOPs and policies.
• Support day-to-day compound handling, sample preparation, and shipments.
• Maintain temperatures per SOPs and handle hazardous materials safely.
• Manage life cycle of samples: reception, registration, retrievals, discard/shipment.
• Use LIMS and automation to track samples and generate reports.
