Precision Medicine Group, LLC. is seeking a Biorepository Technician I in Houston, TX, to assist in shipment receipt, sample retrieval, and storage operations in our Translational Sciences lab.

This full-time, on-site role offers a 7am-4pm Tuesday to Saturday schedule, requires attention to detail, basic Excel, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; you will manage freezers, inventory, and shipping of samples. The position supports QA processes and compliance with IATA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of general working experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Able to work in a cold freezer environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor freezers, refrigeration and room temperatures as assigned.
• Receive, unpack and record incoming shipment data and create folders.
• Store samples at proper temperatures and file associated paperwork.
• Inventory, verify samples and quarantine raw materials for QA release.
• Retrieve and ship samples; perform QC and update records.
• Label vials and shipping boxes; maintain shipping and IATA procedures.
