Job summary

4over in Arlington, TX is seeking a Bindery Operator I for the 2nd shift. You will setup, adjust and safely operate bindery equipment to produce finished products that meet customer specifications and quality standards. Schedule is 2nd shift, typically 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, five days per week depending on business needs.

Salary is $16.00-$18.00 hourly. The role requires 1 year of fast-paced production experience and a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in fast-paced production/manufacturing.
• HS Diploma or GED equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Review batching systems and job tickets to identify priority work and plan processes.
• Set up machines, verify readiness, and adjust operating parameters to meet production requirements.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and adjust to maintain quality, efficiency and material flow.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specs and document results.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and notify Floor Supervisor if unresolved.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance, lubrication and cleaning to ensure optimal performance.
• Unload materials and stack finished products on pallets safely.
• Remove waste for recycling.
• Report injuries, illnesses and near misses to management.
