Digital Room in Arlington, TX is hiring a Production Helper (Jogger Operator) to support the Bindery workflow. This role offers a 2nd shift schedule and starting pay of $13.50 per hour.

You will place printed jobs on jogger, weigh products, monitor equipment, and assist with quality and safety standards. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of printing experience, basic math skills, and the ability to read, write and speak English.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience packing with different paper thickness and general printing process.
• Ability to measure and count accurately.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers.
• Ability to safely use hand/power tools.
• Ability to multitask with changing priorities.
• Ability to recognize safety issues & corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Get clear communication on next ganged jobs to avoid delays.
• Place printed jobs on jogger to align for Cutter Operator.
• Weigh each job according to specifications.
• Monitor jogging machine and adjust to maintain operating speed.
• Troubleshoot machine problems and notify supervisor/plant management.
• Report workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure equipment and workstation are safe and in good working order.
• Be available for overtime based on business needs.
• Be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.
