Job summary

Pregis is seeking a skilled Operator II - Bindery to join our Arlington manufacturing team. You will set up, adjust, and operate bindery and finishing equipment, manage two or more machines, monitor production schedules, and help ensure on-time delivery in a safe, productive work environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of progressive experience in bindery, printing, finishing, packaging, or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive experience in a bindery, printing, finishing, packaging, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating and setting up production equipment preferred.
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Production Operations: Set up, adjust, and operate bindery and finishing equipment; manage two or more machines; ensure production schedules and customer delivery deadlines are met; review job specifications and production requirements; monitor machine performance and adjust as needed; maintain production output and KPIs; complete production documentation.
• Quality Assurance: Perform quality inspections; verify finished products meet specs; follow testing and quality control procedures; identify and resolve quality issues; maintain attention to detail.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Learn and operate various fulfillment and bindery equipment; assist with setup, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance; operate drills, stitchers, vacuum tables, finishing and fulfillment machinery; identify issues and communicate promptly.
• Safety & Continuous Improvement: Follow safety procedures and PPE; keep area clean and safe; participate in safety initiatives; support continuous improvement efforts; assist in SOP development and adherence.
