Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is seeking an Automation/Controls Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Sherman, TX. Core hours 6:00am–2:30pm; hourly rate $41.92.

You will perform routine and predictive maintenance on automated equipment, troubleshoot PLCs/HMIs, and support Industry 4.0 initiatives for OEE. Collaborate with engineering and IT to resolve electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic issues, and ensure safety compliance; document all activities in the CMMS and assist with vendor

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance with focus on automation and controls.
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs.
High school diploma or GED.
Sherman, TX area candidates preferred; no relocation offered.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and predictive maintenance on automated equipment.
Coordinate electrical design requirements with engineering and procurement.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
Implement Industry 4.0 IoT solutions to support OEE metrics.
Procure critical spare parts with OEMs to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate CMMS records and assist with audits and safety initiatives.
