Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic A on 2nd shift at our Nacogdoches, TX facility. Core hours are Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Overtime may be mandatory.

The hourly rate is $27.85 per hour, plus a $1.35 shift differential. Salaries are based on skills and market considerations. We offer health benefits from day one, retirement plans, parental leave, education assistance, wellness reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Must be within 50 miles of the Nacogdoches, TX facility.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or visa processes.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain machines and equipment.
• Identify causes and repair unexpected breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot electrical/electronic, hydraulics, pneumatics, and building components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Operate overhead cranes and hoists; follow LOTO and safety protocols.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed.
• Maintain shop areas, tools, and supplies.
