Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division seeks a Maintenance Mechanic A on 2nd shift in Nacogdoches, TX. Core hours are 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; overtime may be required.

The role involves repairing and maintaining machines, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and PLCs. Requires safety compliance and use of LOTO protocols in a fast-paced facility. Mandatory three years of experience and a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Read and interpret part, machine, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
• Experience with electro-mechanical work and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Identify causes and repair breakdowns on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on machines.
• Fabricate replacement metal parts and maintain shop areas.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety guidelines.
• Operate overhead cranes and assist in material handling.
